Whether it is normal practice to exercise the Royal Prerogative of Mercy in favour of a man such as William Allen, after 40 of those against whom he testified were acquitted or discharged and the trial judge said he was unworthy of belief and lied repeatedly under oath.

As I explained to the noble Lord on 20th May, it is not the practice to give details of reasons for release under the Royal Prerogative of Mercy.
