§ Mr. WaldenThe Medical Research Council receives the greater part of its income as an annual grant-in-aid from the Department's science budget. The amounts of that grant-in-aid in each of the past four years are as follows:

In addition, the MRC has a small amount of income for research commissioned by other Government Departments, international organisations and industry.
