§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy when he intends to publish the conclusions of his further examination of whether investment in energy conservation will offer a better rate of return to the Exchequer than investment in energy supply, following the commitment given in paragraph 87 of his Department's memorandum to the Sizewell inquiry, number DEN/S/3 (N.E.).
§ Mr. David HuntAs I stated in paragraph 61 of the Government's response to the eighth report from the Select Committee on Energy — Session 1984–85 — this question is regularly addressed by my Department. I have no plans to publish a report on the matter.
