asked the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with local education authorities in Wales regarding the allocation of educational resources.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

My right hon. Friend has had consultations relating to the allocation of resources for local authority services, including education, with the Welsh Consultative Council on Local Government Finance. There have also been consultations with the Welsh Counties Committee and the Welsh Joint Education Committee.
