HC Deb 09 June 1986 vol 99 cc22-3W
Mr. Corbyn

asked the Paymaster General if he will set out a list of all studies undertaken by his Department, or bodies sponsored by his Department, on the comparative immediate and latent health risks of coal and uranium mining for fuel stocks for Britain's electricity generation programme.

Mr. Trippier

There are none. A report published by the Health and Safety Executive in 1980 reviews and compares the risks, immediate and latent, in the wider case of coal, oil, and uranium fuel cycles for electricity production.
