§ Mr. LangThe draft directive is not on the agenda for discussion at the June meeting of the EC Council of Labour and Social Affairs Ministers. The Government's opposition in principle to the draft directive is well known and in the event of it being raised for discussion at the Council the Government's response would, of course, be based on this position.
