§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether his consent has been sought by the district of Rochester upon Medway for the sale or demolition of 360 units of accommodation in tower blocks at Rochester and Strood.
§ Sir George YoungWhile there have been some discussions with my Department, it was Rochester upon Medway district council which took the decision to demolish these properties. My right hon. Friend's consent was not required.
