§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services on what date board and lodging and meals charges for nurses and auxiliary staff in hospitals were last raised.
§ Mr. Hayhoe[pursuant to his reply, 3 June 1986]: Lodging charges for nursing and midwifery staff, including nursing auxiliaries, were last raised on 1 April 1985. The prices of most meals are set locally, but nursing staff are also entitled to standard meals at charges agreed nationally for ancillary staff by the ancillary staffs councils. These standard meal charges were last increased on 4 October 1985.
