§ Mr. Thurnhamasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the outcome of recent discussions with other western Governments on international terrorism.
§ Mr. EggarI refer my hon. Friend to the statement given by my right hon. and learned Friend on 23 April about the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Twelve on 21 April. The commitment of the western democracies412W to resist terrorism and to take significant action to deal with it were also firmly underlined at the Tokyo summit. We shall continue to work with friendly and like-minded countries in fighting a problem which affects us all and to urge that measures similar to those agreed by the European Community and summit seven countries be applied on the widest possible basis in the international community.
