Mr. Hickmet

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) by how much as a percentage spending has increased in real terms at Scunthorpe general hospital since 1979; and if he will list those hospitals in the Yorkshire region where spending has increased in real terms since 1979 in order of priority;

(2) if he will make a statement about the operation of the resource allocation working party formula and its effects upon the Scunthorpe health authority.

(2) how many patients, including, inpatients and outpatients, were treated at Scunthorpe general hospital in the last year for which figures are available; how this compares with that for the year ended June 1980; and if he will make a statement.
