§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the minimum and maximum annual pay for each grade of nurses, midwives and health visitors at 1 April, the amounts they will receive after the recent pay awards and the percentage increase they will receive for the whole year; and what is the day in July from which the award will be operative.
§ Mr. HayhoeSalary rates for all grades as at 1 April and from 1 July are set out in appendix A to the review body report (Cmnd. 9782). The following table shows, for the main nursing pay grades and a number of the more senior grades, minimum and maximum basic annual salaries as at 1 April 1986 and 1 July 1986, the date from which the salaries recommended by the pay review body will be paid. It also shows the effective percentage increases payable in the financial year 1986–87. The percentage increases in salary points are higher.
