HC Deb 03 June 1986 vol 98 cc534-5W
Mr. Hickmet

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list those hospitals which have reduced their waiting lists most in the last three years; and if he will make a statement about Scunthorpe General Hospital's performance in this regard.

Hospital waiting lists are usually managed on a district basis. Districts recording the biggest percentage decrease in total numbers of hospital in-patient waiting lists are shown in the tables. They show that Scunthorpe district health authority made the biggest reduction in total cases between 1984 and 1985 and the 19th biggest between 1982 and 1985.
