The table below, derived from successive annual reports of the Parole Board, gives the number of prisoners serving determinate sentences who were recommended for parole in each of the years in question and the number of offenders convicted of further offences during the period of their parole licence who were either recalled to prison or sent warning letters in the course of those years.
