§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish in the Official Report, a table showing for single persons and married couples (a) the estimated number in each £1,000 step of total income qualifying for a reduction of tax on account of age and (b) the estimated number in each range of income qualifying for the additional personal allowance, together with the estimated cost to the Exchequer, in the current financial year in each case.
