§ Mr. HayhoeI assume the hon. Member is referring to the special health authorities responsible for the management of the London post-graduate teaching hospitals. Such information as is available for each of these special health authorities is shown in table 1. Information on numbers of staff in the nursing and midwifery and ancillary staff groups is not available for all the years requested. Estimated changes in nursing and midwifery staff whole-time equivalents between 1979 and 1985, adjusted for the effect of the change of working hours during 1980, are given in table 2.
