§ Mr. Leightonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what information he has as to (a) which governing bodies of schools in England and Wales allow student governors under 18 years of age to participate in the business of the governing body and to sit as part of that body and (b) as to which governing bodies of further education colleges in England and Wales allow student governors under 18 years to do likewise.
