§ Mr. FowlerThere are no bodies in Wales, whose functions relate only to Wales, for which I have sole or joint responsibility for making appointments. There are a number of bodies to which I do make appointments whose work relates to the whole of the United Kingdom, or to both England and Wales, and these are listed in the Cabinet Office publication "Public Bodies 1985", HMSO, 1985 [ISBN 0 11 430008 9], a copy of which is held in the Library. Of the bodies listed in that publication, several have local centres in Wales, and these include medical appeal and vaccine damage tribunals, medical boards, and war pension committees.
