Mr. Gould

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) whether he will bring up to date the figures showing the value and volume of imports and exports of consumer goods given in the reply to the hon. Member for Great Grimsby (Mr. Mitchell) on 20 May 1980, Official Report, column 108, to include figures for 1985; and if he will provide similar figures for intermediate goods and capital goods;

(2) whether he will bring up to date the information on the value and volume of United Kingdom imports and exports of consumer goods given in the reply dated 20 May 1980, Official Report, column 108; if he will add figures for intermediate goods, intermediate less oil and gas, and capital goods; and if he will add the figures for United Kingdom output of consumer goods, intermediate goods and capital goods;

(3) whether he will bring up to date the information on the value and volume of United Kingdom imports and exports of consumer goods given in his answer dated 20 May 1980, Official Report, column 108, adding figures for intermediate goods, intermediate less oil and gas, capital goods, together with United Kingdom output of consumer goods, intermediate goods and capital goods.
