Member for Bury St. Edmunds, if, before he determines when and how to introduce family credit, he will make known to the House the approximate compliance costs.
§ Mr. NewtonThe Government have now announced that family credit will be paid direct when it is introduced in 1988. Accordingly, any costs which would have resulted from payment with wages will no longer arise.
