asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs why the entry clearance officer in the British high commission in Calcutta required Pranab Kumar Saha and Mr. Indrani Saha to cancel valid visas to visit the republic of France and the republic of Italy before granting a short visit entry certificate (X 7742279 and X 774380); and if he will make a statement.
