asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether a regional civil defence exercise is due to take place in the South-East in November and, if so, which local authorities have been invited to take part in it and whether there has been any reluctance to participate.

Lord Glenarthur

An exercise is planned in Region 6 (South-East England) to take place from 24th-26th November. All nine county local authorities have agreed to participate.
