asked the Minister for the Civil Service when the Government expect to reply to the seventh report of the Treasury Civil Service Committee, "Civil Servants and Ministers: Duties and Responsibilities".

The Government's response to the Treasury and Civil Service Committee's report is published today as a Command Paper (Cmnd. 9841). Copies of the response have been placed in the Library.
