§ Mr. PattieUnder the proposals for a levy on blank audio compact cassettes announced in the White Paper "Intellectual Property and Innovation" (Cmnd. 9712), the levy collecting society will be required to give rebates of the levy to organisations making significant use of leviable tapes for purposes that do not infringe copyright. Thus, hospital radio stations using blank audio compact cassettes for such purposes will be eligible to claim a rebate.
