§ Mr. Spellerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for reports from chief constables as to the extent to which drugs are being traded on licensed premises and as to steps taken to notify licensees of the more obvious indications of drug abuse.
§ Mr. Giles ShawChief officers are aware that drugs may be traded on licensed premises although information about the scale of such misuse is not recorded separately. I welcome the initiatives which the Brewers Society has taken to produce training materials to ensure that licensees are well equipped to respond to any drug problem that may arise on their premises.
