§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThrough a series of promotional initiatives the Government are encouraging employers to recognise the importance of investment in training and retraining for improving the skills of their work force at all levels. The Government are also making a direct contribution to meeting industry's current and future skill needs through their training provision for employed and unemployed young people and adults.
