Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will give the total number of children in independent, grammar and non-grammar public sector schools, for pre-compulsory and for post-compulsory schooling, expressed in both numerical terms and as a proportion of the relevant age cohort.
