§ Mr. Kennedyasked the Secretary of State for Defence if, in the light of the recent contract awarded for the transport of formaldehyde to Gruinard Island, he will make it his policy that his Department be involved in the selection of subcontractors in similar cases.
§ Mr. LeeNo. In general, it is the Ministry's policy to make its contractors fully responsible for the conduct of the work required, including the selection of any sub-contractors.
