Mr. Home Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will give the capital costs, fuel costs and other operational costs in pence/kwh at March 1986 prices, for the power stations at Inverkip, Longannet and Hunterston B;

(2) what price per tonne is currently being paid for new supplies of oil fuel for Inverkip power station;

(3) what percentage increase there has been in each year since 1980 in fuel costs at the power stations at Inverkip, Longannet and Hunterston B. respectively.
