§ Mr. ChannonI visited Bonn and Munich on 24 June for discussion on a wide range of Community and international issues with Dr. Bangemann the Federal Minister of the Economy and Dr. Franz Josef Strauss, the Bavarian Minister-President. My visit confirmed the continuing closeness of the United Kingdom and German views on the major industrial and trade policy issues.
