§ Dr. Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in the Official Report figures gained from form ACCR 84/5 for each local authority, showing (a) total accumulated capital receipts derived from section 1, column 6, row 5 of the form and (b) cash-backed accumulated capital receipts derived from section 2, column 6, row 6 of the form.
§ Mr. RidleyI have today placed in the Library a table giving the information requested from Forms ACCR 84/85 submitted by local authorities. The table shows(a) total accumulated capital receipts including repayments of loans to housing associations, derived from section 1, column 6, row 5 of the Form; (b) total accumulated receipts excluding repayments of loans to housing associations, derived from section 1, column 6, row 5 less row 1 of the Form; and (c) cash backed accumulated capital receipts derived from section 2, column 6, row 6 of the Form. The totals for the 3 columns, including estimates for the two authorities for whom figures are not yet available, are: £6.7 billion; £6.2 billion and £3.7 billion respectively.
