§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the estimated National Health Service expenditure per head for the latest year for which figures are available on (a) those aged under one year, (b) those aged under four years, (c) those aged 65 to 74 years, (d) those aged 75 years and over, (e) those aged 65 years and over and (f) the whole population.
§ Mr. HayhoeI regret that separate estimates of health service expenditure on children aged under one year are not available. Estimates of gross current expenditure per head of population on the hospital and community health services and the family practitioner services for 1983–84, the latest year for which these estimates are available, are given in the table for the other broad age groups.
