Mr. Ron Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement about police raids on houses belonging to George O'Dowd and his friends.
§ Mr. Giles ShawI understand from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis that his officers executed six warrants obtained under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at a number of properties in North London on the morning of 8 July. Five people have now been charged with misuse of drugs offences and the matter is therefore sub judice.
