§ Mr. Peter BottomleyConsultants have studied peak-hour congestion problems on the south-west sector of the motorway. They were asked to advise whether the best solution would be remodelling junctions, improving traffic management, widening carriageways or a combination of these measures. An announcement will be made shortly when we have decided what measures to take. Traffic flows on the remainder of the motorway are being kept under review.
