§ Mr. Boyesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list in the Official Report the names of those animal rights organisations which expressed support to him regarding the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Bill [Lords].
§ Mr. MellorThe measures in the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 to increase the protection of animals used in scientific research, have received substantial support from leading animal welfare bodies as well as from many other organisations, including those representing the veterinary profession.
