The report of the ad hoc group on removal of fiscal barriers was presented to the council of Economic and Finance Ministers on 16 June. The outcome of the Council's discussion of the group's report is recorded in the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to my hon. Friend the Member for Carshalton and Wallington (Mr. Forman) on 20 June at column646.
