§ Q93. Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Prime Minister if she has any plans to increase the current levels of expenditure in overseas aid in response to the United Nations Special Session on famine in Africa.
§ The Prime MinisterI welcome the positive outcome of the United Nations Special Session on Africa. We will make ever effort to increase our aid to those countries which can make effective use of it, especially those now carrying out sensible economic policies.
