§ Dr. Marekasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list what information the University Grants Committee has on the surplus or deficit of revenue for universities in the United Kingdom for the last year for which figures are available.
§ Mr. WaldenI refer the hon. Member to tables 3 and 6 of volume three of "University Statistics 1983–84", a copy of which is in the Library, which give full details of univerities' income and expenditure in that year.
