§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what contact his Department has had with the Body Positive organisation; and if he has considered allocating it any finances to enable it to increase its level of counselling services to acquired immune defficiency syndrome sufferers.
§ Mr. HayhoeOfficials from my Department's AIDS unit have contact with representatives of Body Positive on a regular basis. In the last two weeks my Department has received a request for financial assistance to meet the cost of a counselling video film being developed by Body Positive in conjunction with St. Mary's hospital, Paddington which is being considered.
