Mr. Freeson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) how many homes were owned for rental by housing associations in England and Wales at the latest available date; and what were the figures for the same period for each of the last three years;

(2) how many homes have been built by housing associations for sale or shared ownership in each of the last three years;

(3) what is the total number of homes owned by the housing associations at the latest available date; and what were the figures for the same period for each of the last three years.
