Hampshire Education Authority ex part J, 28 November 1985; what action he has now taken; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. DunnMy right hon. Friend has considered the judgment in this case and has concluded that it is broadly in line with his Department's interpretation of the Education Act 1981. He has written to chief education officers and amendments will be made to the guidance contained in circular 1/83 in due course.
