§ Mr. WaldenThe sum of the University Grants Committee's recurrent, equipment and capital grants to universities and universities' receipts in fees for home students (nearly all of which are paid by local education authorities) per full-time home student was, at 1986–87 prices, £6,323 in 1979–80 and £6,234 in 1986–87.
