§ Mr. Mark RobinsonGeneral facilities for members of the public to monitor radioactivity are not provided by the Government. A programme of monitoring a wide range of crops and meat has been undertaken by the Government on a national basis since the Chernobyl accident in order to ensure the safety of public food supplies.
