§ Mr. Giles ShawThe Road Traffic Act 1972 provides for the courts to give due weight to the results of evidential breath test, blood or urine tests in drink drive cases. It is for the court to decide in a particular case what other536W evidence is to be admitted, and the importance to be attached to it. I see no need to seek to restrict the discretion of the courts in this matter.
