§ Mr. Murphyasked the Paymaster General if he will make a statement on the outcome of the third conference of European Ministers of Labour organised by the Council of Europe.
§ Mr. Alan ClarkAt the conference there was a useful exchange of views on employment trends, youth unemployment and the impact of new technology on employment, which provided a good opportunity to explain United Kingdom Government policy on these issues. I shall be arranging for a copy of the final communiqué to be placed in the Library as soon as the definitive text is available.
