§ 24. Mr. Lambieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will hold an inquiry into the affairs of the Scottish Special Housing Association, in view of its recent decision to increase rents by 11 to 28 per cent.
§ Mr. RifkindI understand that the range of percentage increases in rents is in fact 9 to 13 per cent. and the average 11.2 per cent. I can see no grounds for an inquiry on the lines suggested by the hon. Member.
