§ Mr. WhitneyTRANX, Harrow, is funded under the Department's drugs initiative, the purpose of which is to pump-prime local projects. As in other schemes of this kind, three years is the maximum period for which central funding can be provided, after which local projects are expected to look for continued support to their local statutory authorities, which are responsible for the planning and provision of health and social services.
