§ Mr. WaldenDetails of the Government's expenditure plans for education and science in 1986–87 were announced in the House on 12 November 1985. In reaching its decisions on the science budget, the Government took into account advice received during the year from the Advisory Board for the Research Councils. Copies of the Board's advice have been placed in the library of the House. It is likely that a similar pattern will be followed in the current year.
