asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he has any plans to seek to privatise the Welsh Development Agency; if any review of the Welsh Development Agency is currently underway; and if he will make a statement.

I have no plans to privatise the Welsh Development Agency. As foreseen in my answer of 4 December 1985 at column232, a review of the WDA is currently under way as part of the programme of reviews of all of the executive non-departmental public bodies under my control.
