§ Mr. WhitneyIt is not possible to give a precise answer as the index to which the hon. Member refers relates to local authority districts, which in many cases are no conterminous with health authority areas. Of the 366 local authority districts covered by the social deprivation indicators, 98 per cent. score more favourably than the London borough of Southwark, which includes the Camberwell health authority area.
