§ Mr. TrippierThe resources for work-related non-advanced further education transferred from the local authority rate support grant (England and Wales) to the Manpower Services Commission (£110 million in 1986–87) will be used to improve the quality and relevance of work-related NAFE provision.
Detailed discussions in pursuit of these objectives are currently under way between local education authorities and local offices of the Manpower Services Commission.
